Ubuntu 11.10 Oneiric Alpha 2 已正式发布，主要特性及亮点包括：
- Unity 桌面环境基于 Gnome 3 构建
- Gnome Shell 已进入官方源
- Unity 2D 已默认安装
- LightDM 已成为默认的登录管理器
- 默认的 Ubuntu GTK 主题已移植到 GTK3
- 最新内核：Linux Kernel 3.0-rc5
- gcc 4.6.1 编译器
- 默认浏览器为 Firefox 5.0
- 默认邮件客户已改为 Thunderbird 5.0
- 默认集成了 Deja Dup 备份工具
- 默认不再安装 Synaptic Package Manager （新立得包管理器）

桌面的fuckgfw倒是很吸引人眼球。

@riku, 我这里连不上wifi 用wicd的话连上的wifi不是全局的，不能apt-get update不能GTalk…因为这个我骂娘好久了……

@riku, 我一直以为你们的wifi都有问题…以前10.04和10.10都没问题…没事 回头换一下就好了。。。

@TheLover_Z, 其实wifi的驱动什么的是没有问题的，是nm-applet有问题，使用wicd就没有什么问题了 &

@Leo Ding, wicd的话连上的网貌似不是全局的样子…比如我这里的话pidgin和apt就不能用…很纠结……而且我在我的房间的时候用win7连无线下载速度能达到400+，但是wicd的话100都达不到 还老是掉线…纠结得很…

@TheLover_Z, 这样的问题一般是驱动不好造成的。内核自带的驱动有时候会比较老，可以去网卡的制造商那里下载最新的。我的瑞昱的无线网卡原来的内核带的驱动根本就没法用，总是掉线，但是换成最新的以后，比Windows的用的还舒服。

从a1一直跟。。不过gtk2的程序如firefox等输入有问题了。。。sandy bridge仍然用不了gnome-shell lightdm还有各种问题。。比如偶尔启动后鼠标键盘都没反应 了。。

Ubuntu发展的是越来越挫了，把好的东西都去掉了，11.04莫名其妙搞个远不成熟的Unity，根本就没考虑用户的使用细节，只是一个吸引眼球的玩意，而在11.10里又莫名其妙不默认安装新立得包管理器，我是感觉ubuntu在走下坡路了，方向发展错误！

@test, 错的是你，新力德对新手根本不友好，只有不断的吸引新手，才能走向成功，我要是Mark，我连终端都取消，终端这东西对新手来说，那就是恶魔。
加强用户体验才是王道，否则，那就是死路一条。

Unity的缺点多到已经无力吐槽了，包括很多人觉得好的“东施”全局菜单，实在体会不出将一个小窗口的菜单硬帮帮地剥离到头顶有什么作用（提高效率？美观？）。希望ubuntu下个版本回到稍微正常的发展轨道吧。

@ivarptr, 对于笔记本电脑全局菜单感觉还是很友好的，可以最大化显示区域。Firefox标签页置顶后配合ChromeLess HD插件，浏览网页的时候非常舒服~
