Ubuntu 11.10 Oneiric Ocelot 正式发布

Update : Ubuntu 还推出一个很漂亮的在线教程站点 http://www.ubuntu.com/tour/ 。
开发代号为 Oneiric Ocelot 的 Ubuntu 11.10 终于正式发布，官方通告还未出来，但 CD 镜像已放出。正式发布时间可以看这里。
桌面版 Ubuntu 11.10 的主要新特性包括：
- 使用最新稳定版 Linux Kernel 3 。
- 提供 ARM 架构的 ISO 镜像。
- 底层基于 Gnome 3.2 ，官方源里包括了 Gnome-shell 用户界面。
- 默认安装 Unity 2D 桌面环境，不再提供 Classic 界面。
- Ubuntu Software Center 采用了全新的界面，并把 OneConf 整合进了 Ubuntu Software Center ，可以让你在两台电脑之间同步安装过的软件。
- 改善在 64 位机器上安装 32 位软件的支持。
- DVD 版本镜像大小限制到了 1.5 G，提供附加语言包及一些扩展程序。
- Ubuntu Dashboard 进行了大量的修正，把原来的 Lenses (Places) 整合了进去，并已支持中文搜索。
- Thunderbird 为默认邮件客户端。
- Déjà Dup 作为默认备份工具。
- 全新的 LightDM 登录界面。
- Indicators 作了大量的修改。
- 全新的 Alt+Tab 程序切换样式。
- 新版本应用程序：FireFox 7 , LibreOffice 3.4.3
- Gwibber 3.1.4 ：重新设计了 UI 。
- Ubuntu 主题在细节上作了大量的变化 。

不明白为什么要把PC当成平板来用。
GNOME 3明显是平板的操作界面。

我也这么觉得，现在连WINDOWS都要走类似的路线了。平板是平板PC是PC，搞得不伦不类。

装了ubuntu 11.10 之后，接着装gnome3.2 切换到classic模式，连个面板都不能添加，弱爆了.........已经切换到linuxmint Gnome 2 系统，坚持gnome2到底

11.10的DVD比11.04小了近2.5GB，希望不要省掉太多内容；网速不济，还是希望DVD能大些……

@riku, dpkg装上了，唉用GDebi、软件中心不行。
下列软件包有未满足的依赖关系：
google-chrome-stable : 依赖: libnspr4-0d (>= 4.7.3-0ubuntu1~) 但是它将不会被安装
依赖: libxss1 但是它将不会被安装
依赖: libcurl3 但是它将不会被安装
E: 有未能满足的依赖关系。请尝试不指明软件包的名字来运行“apt-get -f install”(也可以指定一个解决办法)。

在网吧挂着渣雷下dialy64iso和oneiric32（虚拟机用）；
升级还是方便，但是那些以前的ppa什么的有好的修改方法么

11.10 可以不用Unity, 加装 Gnome Shell 就和其他Distro差不多了, 也可以用 Gnome 3 fallback (Gnome 2主题), 再用不惯还有KDE, XFCE, LXDE 等~

升级非常顺利! 整体感觉比11.04进步很多, 比较奇怪的地方是新的Nautilus布局... 按钮全不见了，左边侧栏布局整个很突兀+ Global Menu, 左上角整个黑鸦鸦一片. 简直是丑到爆 .... 囧
不过有许多细节很用心, 真的满赞的, 只要亲自玩玩看后就知道
Software Center 改善不少, 虽然以前都用apt-get和synaptic, 但现在的Software Center足以胜任大部分软件安装移除管理, 而且赏心悦目
相容性部分, Thunderbird 3.x => 7 , 一堆extensions变得不能用, 这比较不方便 , 新的wine造成一些问题, 可能需要降级回去
CCSM的unity设置又多了不少东东可以玩, Unity有改善, 但我用了近半年后，还不是很熟练它的窗口管理方式，窗口开多了，Unity还是一样令人眼花撩乱 , 找不到工作窗口 @@, 有时候会用得令人恼火, 易用性还有不少可改进空间,

老旧的2005年的915集显500mb内存(虽然用上一篇的测试是全yes)的笔记本,装11.04和11.10都是卡到一个不行啊..... 之前10.04还行,不过,安装的iso都删除了,还得再下10.04,该屎的canonical.......

无法适应Unity，装个gnome-shell习惯一段时间以后再升级吧。目前位置工作环境用GNOME 2最高效-_-

终于搞定ATI显卡花屏问题，现在在用11.10，觉得Unity和Gnome3是为平板做的，PC机用着有点难受。真怀念Gnome2啊
