System Monitor Indicator 是一个用于监视系统状态的小工具，包括当前 CPU 及内存使用情况。
这是一款 Indicator (指示器) 类软件，安装好并手动运行后会在 Gnome 顶部面板上显示相应的系统信息，数据会实时刷新，同时可设置刷新间隔时间及输出内容等等，而且完全支持 Ubuntu 11.04 Natty 。
# Ubuntu 11.04 用户可以直接用这个 PPA 来安装。
sudo apt-add-repository ppa:alexeftimie/ppa
sudo apt-get update
sudo apt-get install indicator-sysmonitor
而 Ubuntu 10.04 或 10.10 用户可以到这里下载 Deb 包 ,支持 32 位及 64 位 。

Linux 下这类的小东西确实很多，但一般用过之后我都会删除。个人觉得用处不到啊。

我也在想是不是得手动运行一下。 装在哪里了？ 刚无意中发现系统自带了一个类似的monitor indicator, 不过只能显示CPU的usage.

找到了。就在/usr/bin下 可以用 不过terminal里会报错

@zebrat, 直接用 alt-f2 运行，或加载在开始程序内，让它开机自动运行。
