Zotero 是一款强大的文献管理工具，支持批注、笔记、附件、捕捉、高级检索等功能，同时还能通过注册帐号与网络同步。

Zotero 长期以来一直只能作为firefox的插件使用，目前终于发布了独立版本，支持windows、linux、Mac OSX平台，并能够通过插件的形式连接Chrome、IE浏览器。独立版本的Zotero可以从firefox插件中导出已有数据。

真是太让人兴奋了，说句实在话，这是个很大的surprise，比firefox4的到来更大的surprise.

以前依赖于firefox就是不明智的，尤其是firefox这种向下兼容插件的。
